Please be sure to have the animals' environment set up before the arrival at its new home. As with any animal, your new arrival should be quarantined for a period of 6 weeks. It is very important that the animal has no contact with other animals. This means cage toys, food items, dishes, cleaning tools (rags), or any other item that would be transferred from one cage/animal to another. Some animals can live with things that others cannot, so this is important as not to expose your new animal to anything foreign.
Animals that are smaller than 9 inches should be kept on paper, paper towels, or newspaper as a substrate only. No sand, no walnut shell, no dirt. Water bowls are also not recommended. You may give your animal the opportunity to drink water and bathe daily in some kind of container. We use shoe box containers. Basking temperatures should be between 105-115 degrees, cold side of the tank should be between 75-85 degrees. Reptiles are cold blooded. They need the ability to thermal regulate (raise and lower their body temperatures).
Different reptiles require different UV bulb output. Please refer to your specific animals care page for specific instruction. We do not recommend combination bulbs. These bulbs are generally too hot for smaller enclosures. For most reptiles it is important that the animal is able to attain its heat and uv requirements seperately as they may not always want heat when they are seeking UV. Please use these with caution. Using these bulbs in an improper manner may void your guarantee.
If you notice a problem such as an animal not eating, acting lethargic, or anything else of concern, you must contact Dragon Fortress IMMEDIATELY at contact@dragonfortress.com or through our websites contact page. If you choose to contact others for advice and follow that advice such as another breeder, or veterinarian, then your guarantee may become void. It is very important to contact us immediately and follow our suggestions to ensure your animal takes a speedy road to recovery.

1. Please go through our website and review the information in every link in both categories "Care Info" and "Guidelines." Please ask any questions.
2.Please send an email to contact@dragonfortress.com within two days of receiving your animal with the following information;
a. Your Full name, and any contact information you can provide
b. Your payment receipt number
c. A statement relaying the following information: You have read the care information and guidelines information in its entirety
d. Any questions that you may have about your dragon, its set up, its care, or the information provided on our website.
e. This must be done within two (2) days of receiving the animal.
Your guarantee will become void if you do not submit the information within a two day period after purchase, or if the information is not followed as suggested on our care sheets and the animal guidelines. No exceptions. Most importantly, we need to see that proper care and attention is being given to the animal. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
