Before purchasing any animal, please ensure that you are completely informed on any and all care information available through our site. Please have the animals environment set up so that as soon as it arrives its home is ready. This will reduce the risk of stresses put on the animal from the move to its new home. Please feel free to ask us any question in regards to our husbandry practices. Some times you may find other methods that work better for you and your animals, compared to some suggestions and findings found throughout our site. It is your decision whether you may follow or not follow our care information, however, if you decide to practice your own or someone elses methods, this may affect the validity of your guarantee. All suggestions on this site are made from our own findings from working with these animals. If you do choose your own methods, and have undesirable results, this may void the health guarantee. Check with us before you make any changes or use other methods not found on our web site. All animals are guaranteed for a standard 14 day period. You must send us an email with the completed requested information in order to activate your guarantee which starts the day the animal arrives/picked up. If you do not send us the email with the requested information, your guarantee will not be active/ will become void. The information must be emailed within 48 hours of the animals arrival/pick-up. If this is going to be a problem, it must be resolved before the animal is purchased. There will be no exceptions. This ensures you are properly informed on the animals care because this is very important in able to ensure the animals ability to stay healthy and thrive. Requested information that needs to be emailed is: Your name Where you bought the animal/date/price A statement informing us that you have read and understand the care information/any questions you may have We have our care sheet broken down on our site for easy navigation. Please click and review all the links located on our site in regards to animals care, and policies and guidelines. PLEASE REVIEW THE “DEALING WITH SICK ANIMALS AND GUARANTEE INFORMATION”. It contains very important information, and specific instructions on dealing with sick animals. If you choose to not follow these instructions your guarantee will become void. This will be at the discretion of the seller(dragon fortress). Things to look for: If your bearded dragon does not begin eating within two days of arrival at its new home, you must contact us(this means if it does not eat on the day after arrival). If the dragon stops eating for more than a day, please contact us(on the second day). We will not warrant or guarantee animals that are not properly cared for, or if you wait longer than the time recommended to contact us in the case of a problem with your animal. If there is a problem for 3 or 4 days before you contact us, this will be considered neglectful on your part, and the health guarantee does not apply. All animals are healthy and free from sickness, so please be sure to keep your hands clean before handling your animal, and especially after handling other animals. If you notice any problems, please contact us immediately. The animals ability to live and thrive the rest of its days is now your responsibility. These are living creatures, and you can imagine that if it wouldnt make you happy, it may not make the animal happy either. If you didnt eat for a two or three day period, then you would be hungry and somethings more than likely wrong. Also, if you feed dragons worms, thats like feeding a kid candy, and it holds negative nutritional values in excess.
