DEALING WITH SICK ANIMALS AND GUARANTEE INFORMATION


When purchasing an animal, you have agreed to read all care and guarantee information in its entirety. FIRST AND FOREMOST...IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS, CONTACT US FIRST, RIGHT AWAY. This gives us the chance to help you with our animals.

The following information is provided in order to help you identify a sick animal, and a little more about our health guarantee. If you do not follow these instructions, just as with the care sheet, your guarantee may become void. It is our opinion that ignorance is not an excuse when it comes to the lives of animals. Although we would like if no animal becomes sick, stressed, or unfortunately dies, its not reasonable. Care for the animal is a vital part to its ability to thrive and live a happy life all of its days.

1. You notice your animal not eating, becoming lethargic, or something alerts you from its normal behavior that something is not right. First thing you must do is contact us with the problem that you have noticed. Do not call a friend, another breeder, your mother or brother and ask them what you should do, you must contact us. This is so we can back our guarantee. If we never have the chance to help in the situation, or someone else is giving out information on how they think is best to keep the animal we sold you and you choose follow it, this may differ from our opinions, and void your guarantee.
2. Contact us when you notice the problem. Please do not call us and tell us that your animal has died today, and stopped eating about 3-5 days ago. We consider considered this neglectful. 3. Please do not call us with the excuse that “I didn’t know that,” or “I didn’t read that.” We cannot not be held responsible for ignorance of the information provided regarding care and handling instructions of your animal. We have put a lot of time into informing you, the buyer, with plenty of information on proper care. Please use it to its full potential.
4. Please be sure to follow all care instructions, and contact us with any questions. Contact by email is preferred and suggested for the most timely response. This ensures quick response time, where this may be important on fixing the issues that are usually time sensitive. Please feel free to all
5. Do NOT dispose of the body if your animal has died unless you are otherwise instructed. If we have no way to confirm that the animal is deceased, we cannot replace the said animal. We offer a replacement guarantee which states that if the animal is ill during the guarantee period, and unfortunately dies, we will replace the said animal with another animal of like or equal qualities, we may also opt to issue a refund of the purchase price of the animal, however this is all solely at the discretion of the seller, Dragon Fortress. We do not refund shipping costs. We do not ship replacement animals if they are bought at a expo, the replacement animal must be picked up at a future expo, or you must pay for shipping costs if this is how you desire to receive your replacement. If you choose to dispose of the body, clearly identifiable pictures must be taken of all sides of the animal approved first by dragonfortress as acceptable. These must be confirmed suitable before disposing of the body.
6. We do our very best to make sure you are equipped with all the knowledge you need to properly care for your animal. Please make sure you use it. It is very important. Please feel free to contact us with any questions in regards to any of the information provided.
